As we age, we all hope to enjoy personal independence. From childhood we are taught us how to take care for ourselves. Hence, w have control of ourselves when we reach adulthood. Success, happiness and well being can be directly related to remaining independent and doing things on our own. In fact, it becomes more important as people get older.

The result, a greater sense of self-worth leading to a state of well-being.
