There is a very easy way to remember sudden signs of stroke.  Use the synonym F.A.S.T.  So, what does FAST  mean?

  • The persons Face will  drooping — Ask the person to attempt a smile. If their mouth  is uneven, there is cause to worry?
  • Weakness in the Limbs  If they have "Arm weakness"? Does of their one limbs seem to be drifting  downwards?
  • Speech difficulty — staring to slurred their speech.
  • It is Time to call 911 — if these symptoms are present at all call 911 immediately.

  • Numbness  of the face, and limbs.  This may be worse on one side of the body
  • Confusion coupled with trouble talking
  • Problems in one or both of your eyes
  • Difficulty not being, dizzy in addition to lack of balance as well as lack of coordination
  • Severe headache 

If you’ve had one, you’re at higher risk of having another one.
