Dad was a mess, After we lost Mom. He relied on her 100%. Problem, couldn't keep track of the days. He was messing-up a lot. Med-Q's kept him at home
Dad lives with us. The problem, not taking his pills when we were at work. Not any more with your smart pill box
Mom lives almost 300 miles away. This has been a Godsend for us.
Mom was missing 3-4 pills a week. I filled her old box, but it wasn't working. This pill box does it for her
The whole family helps with Grandma. This gives us one less thing that we worry about. Has helped us a lot.
This is excellent. My Dad is 91 and still at home. He is almost deaf, so the flashing box helps him a lot.
This has made a real impact in our Dad’s life. He is doing great with his diabetes medication. Best thing we ever bought

Best ever at keeping patients on track with taking medications
Best device ever! As a nurse I couldn’t get my mom to take her meds, with this device she rarely misses a dose now. Easy for her to use at age 80, she just has one button to push to reset for her next dose. Save us over $300 per month not having the assisted living facility have to give her meds and now she feels more independent and doing better because she is taking her meds routine.y
Looks like this has resolved the problem

Purchased this for an elderly aunt that was having trouble keeping up with her meds with a regular pill box. Looks like this has resolved the problem.

My Mom is suffering from the beginnings of Alzheimer's and getting her to remember to take her pills each day was a headache for her (she hated feeling like she was nagged about it) and me (I hated nagging). Now, this amazing pill box does the "nagging" for us and my Mom laughs every time it "beeps and flashes" at her. But, since we've had it, she hasn't missed a day of pills! It IS, as others have mentioned, a bit tricky to get set up but once it's up and running, it's great.
The only other thing we did was to tape simple, explicit instructions to the bottom of it (coming out for the bottom so the pill box sits on top of the instructions) about how to turn it off (we acutally said "#1 - Take your pills. # 2 - Hit the Next Alarm button once to turn off) and we taped over everything but the "Next Alarm" button (otherwise it was a bit confusing for her). I totally recommend this for anyone with "forgetful" loved ones. Best money I ever spent!
1. Not super industrial looking and no cord to plug it. It can sit on the kitchen table and not take up lots of space or look like a big bingo machine! And it is blue - which she likes!
2. The flashing red light really helps. My mom has not taken the wrong meds or missed a dose in the two months we have had. She has no vision in one eye and low in the other.
3. The alarm every 30 minutes works well. If she misses it, it just keeps on alerting every 30 minutes until she respond
Just what he needed!
I bought this for my husband as a Christmas gift. He is diabetic and takes some other meds both in the morning and evening. He works from home, and would often get busy and forget to take his pills. Now, he has the dispenser set and it beeps loudly enough that he can hear it from his office! The timers also assure he takes the medication at regular intervals. It's small enough, and with the handy tote that came with it, we can take it when we travel. A great device and well worth the price!!!
The perfect pill dispenser
The perfect pill dispenser! Bought this for my mother, who had trouble remembering which day of the week it was. Can be set for medication taken once a day or twice a day. The pill box for the appropriate day lights up in red & the dispenser beeps until the pills are taken. Turning off the "beep" automatically sets the dispenser for the next scheduled time. As my mother is easily confused, once I set the schedule, I covered that portion of the unit's buttons with paper & tape so that the only button exposed was the one she needed to press to turn off the "beep". Setting the time/date schedule is a little tricky as you only have a few seconds to move from date to time to day of week, etc. If you hesitate, the unit goes back to default & you have to start all over again. Would suggest watching one of the Med Q pill dispenser videos on You Tube to help walk you through the scheduling set up. Once the schedule is set, this product can't be beat.
Great to keep daughters pills organized and dispensed at correct time.

Great price, Small size and perfect for a week or two of pills. Easy instructions to program times.
My b-i-l has diabetes and doesn't remember to take his meds on time. He will now!
Now, it can't help with dementia illness. Someone reliable has to set the alarms and fill the boxes and someone must know what the beeps are about. But for me, as a stroke survivor I don't need a caregiver to come to give me my pills. If (when) this box eventually wears out you can be assured that I will buy another
A life saver!!!
I bought this for a friend who could not remember to take her pills. This pill dispenser works so well - she is now taking her pills without me having to call her twice a day!!!

Makes me feel better too. Thank
Sent this to my dad who is having trouble remembering when to take what. Mom says it has taken the pressure off them both as it will keep reminding until it has been addressed. Makes me feel better too. Thank you
